I can say with certainty that music makes or breaks a workout.
Last week as I was running on the treadmill, I was listening to a '90's Smash Hits playlist on Spotify when all of a sudden Sarah McLachlan's Angel came on. You know, the dog shelter song...are you kidding me?! Worst running music EVER!
The next day as Kelsey (from Kelsey Diane Blog) and I were at the gym, my playlist was on point so I suggested to her that we each make a list of our top 10 favorite songs to workout to. (Perhaps I should have specified cardio workout because some of her choices were very Sarah McLachlan-ish.)
We each made our own lists and decided to do a #musicmonday Instagram live where we shared our lists with eachother as well as all of you. Even though we both like a lot of the same bands, our lists were quite different.
