Quick Keto Chocolate Mason Jar Cheesecake

I am a total dessert girl. I completely believe that no matter how full I am, there is ALWAYS room for dessert. Perhaps I even have a separate "dessert stomach".

When going over to visit my parents for dinner, there is always some kind of amazing dessert. Cake, homemade cookies, pastries, etc. However, being on a Keto "diet", none of those are okay to have. So instead of completely missing out on dessert or asking them to make something Keto friendly (which I'm sure they would because they're great like that), I came up with a quick and easy solution.
Keto cheesecake - to go.

Besides donuts, my favorite dessert is cheesecake. Thankfully, cheesecake is way more Keto friendly. This recipe obviously doesn't have a delicious graham cracker crust, but I think you'll be surprised that you won't really miss it.

You'll need:


  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. erythritol (or other sweetener of choice)
  • small mason jar


Place all of the ingredients in a small mason jar.


Mix it all together.


Place in the microwave and cook on high for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Put back in for another 30 seconds. Remove and stir again. Put it in for another 30 seconds. (Total of 90 seconds cook time).


Place in fridge and let chill for about an hour.


When you're ready to go, just put the lid on and you're set!

This can also be made in a bowl and enjoyed at home. You don't even need to refrigerate it if you can't wait and don't mind warm cheesecake. It's basically delicious no matter how you eat it. Let me know what you think if you give it a try!
